Family owned and operated on the bold coast of Milbridge, Maine
Pour one to two inches of water with a pinch of Maine Sea Salt into a large pot. Bring to boil. Place lobsters in and cover tightly. Time for approximately 30 minutes. This may take more time depending on the quantity of lobster in your pot. Another trick is to test the antennae. Give one a tug and when it comes off easily, your lobsters are done. Another sure sign is the bright red color.
Pour one to two inches of water into a large pot and add the clams. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil. Let the clams cook in the steam from the boiling water for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the steamer clam shells are wide open (may be longer.) Remove the pot from the heat. Any steamers that didn't open should be discarded. (The pot might foam up and boil over while cooking, so keep an eye on it while cooking.) Let the clams cool for a couple minutes.
